A virtual compound library is a large, digitally stored collection of hypothetical or known chemical structures that can be searched and screened by algorithms. Unlike physical libraries, they donāt exist in vials but as data that can be rapidly analysed. This term matters because AIābased screening on such libraries lets teams explore huge chemical spaces that would be impossible to test experimentally at scale.
